New from The Vintage Spool...

Verna Mosquera of The Vintage Spool is known for her colorful and detailed applique quilt patterns.  She has just designed a fabric collection called Tea Cakes, which we are expecting to arrive within the next week!

It's not too early to be thinking about Christmas!

Around here, we are already thinking Christmas season.

Do you have plans to make a quilted TREE SKIRT?

Take a closer look, I added some festive giant ric-rac and red

buttons  to mimic a holly berry tree.

There are 8 scalloped quilted panels and candy cane sashing, 

that can be stitched up in a weekend. (Ok, maybe many weekends!)

But if you start now, you will be sure to have it completed

for the holiday season. 

This tree skirt measures 45" in diameter.

International Quilt Market!

Lynn, Dave, and I just returned from International Quilt Market in Salt Lake City, Utah.  It was a whirlwind weekend of wholesale buying and selling.  This was our first time to be selling our patterns at the show, and I think we made a great first impression!  Everyone loved our Blessings of Spring quilt, and are eagerly awaiting the debut of the next quilt in The Blessings Series.  (Keep your eyes open!)
